Z-Flex

Z-Flex

It all started in 1975 with the Zephyr skateboards team in Santa Monica (Dogtown). The production of Zephyr surfboards was an integral part of the local surf culture, and had expanded its business into the production of skateboards, this period coincides with the invention of urethane wheels. Kent Sherwood (Jay Adam's mentor) owned a fiberglass store, and was approached by Jeff Ho, Skip Engblom and Craig Stecyk of Zephyr Surf Shop to create a Zephyr skateboard, today the brand has gone transformed into Z-Flex.
