How to use this Bearing Cleaner Unit which will allow you to clean your ball bearings:

1. Gently remove the rubber flange (s) located on the side (s) of your ball bearings. Clean the flanges with a dry cloth, never use solvent, this could damage them.

2. We recommend that you use a solvent to clean your dirty bearings. Solvents are dangerous products, so we recommend that you always handle them with latex gloves and in a well-ventilated area. You can find these products at any hardware or DIY store. Acetone or denatured alcohol are the solvents that will give you the best results. Absolutely avoid all petroleum-based solvents such as kerosene or paint thinner, gasoline, turpentine, or anything that contains toluene. Whatever product you use, we recommend that you dry and then lubricate your bearings immediately after cleaning so that they do not rust.

3. Now is the time to move on to the cleaning itself. Take your bearings and place them on the metal axle by alternating a bearing, a spacer, a bearing until all eight bearings are in place on the axle. For best results, all bearings should have the side with the visible balls facing up. Then screw the wing nut to lock the bearings on the axle. Fill your Cleaner Unit 2/3 full with your solvent, immerse the shaft in it and properly close the cap. Shake your cleaning kit for 30 seconds, gently open it to rotate your bearings to release any debris they may contain and ensure they are clean, repeat the operation until your bearings appear completely clean.

4. Now remove your bearings from the axle and dry them with a clean cloth. You can optimize the drying operation by using a can of dry air (found in stationery or computer store) pay attention during this operation to any solvent projection, protect your eyes and do this over your cloth.

5. Now that your bearings are clean and dry, it is time to move on to the lubrication step: put 2 drops of Speed Cream inside each bearing, then rotate them with your fingers so that the lubricant diffuses. throughout the bearing (for Ceramic bearings, 1 drop of Spead Cream is sufficient).

6. Carefully replace your rubber flanges on your bearings, and voila! They are like new!

Note: When cleaning your Cleaning Unit, refer to the packaging of the solvent you used to find out how to dispose of it in an ecological and responsible manner.
