Alien Workshop
Founded in 1990 in Ohio by Chris Carter, Mike Hill, and Neil Blender, Alien Workshop (often referred to as AWS) is one of the most conceptual and influential brands in skateboarding history. Famous for its mysterious graphic universe blending alien paranoia, vintage imagery, and science fiction, the brand revolutionized skate culture with legendary videos like Mind Field. Crafted with premium Canadian maple, our Alien Workshop decks offer exceptional pop and proven durability for skaters looking to stand out with an out-of-this-world style. Complete your setup with our trucks and wheels for an otherworldly ride.
Alien Workshop: the artistic UFO born far from California
At a time when almost the entire skate industry was centralized under the California sun, Alien Workshop chose to set up shop in Dayton, Ohio. This voluntary isolation allowed the brand to develop a unique visual and philosophical identity, completely immune to passing trends. Driven by the brilliant artistic direction of Mike Hill, AWS introduced a dark, surreal, and intellectual aesthetic to skateboarding. The brand's historic roster hosted some of the greatest geniuses in history, putting absolute icons like Rob Dyrdek, Arto Saari, Heath Kirchart, Anthony Van Engelen, and the late Dylan Rieder in the spotlight.
Premium build quality and the return of the iconic "Sect"
Don't be fooled by its abstract universe: Alien Workshop gear is a benchmark of technical excellence and durability. The brand applies strict manufacturing standards so that every deck handles the beatings of heavy street and park sessions.
Here is what makes the Alien Workshop collection on our shop so strong:
