Primitive
Founded in 2014 by the most influential professional skateboarder of his generation, Paul Rodriguez (P-Rod), Primitive Skateboarding is the flagship of modern street skating. Renowned worldwide for its ultra-sleek aesthetics, surgically precise shapes, and legendary anime collaborations (Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Sailor Moon, Marvel), the brand offers premium Canadian maple decks with exceptional pop. Choosing Primitive means enjoying technical perfection and high-end style daily approved by an elite team of riders. Complete your setup with our trucks and wheels for a ride that matches your ambitions.
Primitive Skateboarding: Paul Rodriguez's quest for perfection
When Paul Rodriguez decided to leave his long-time board sponsor to launch his own independent brand, he had a clear vision in mind: create the most qualitative and stylish skate team in the world. In just a few years, Primitive grew from a passion project into an inescapable global empire. The brand embodies street skateboarding focused on absolute fluidity, millimetric control, and technical excellence. Driven by one of the most impressive teams on the planet (featuring street geniuses like Tiago Lemos, Miles Silvas, Carlos Ribeiro, or Giovanni Vianna), Primitive constantly pushes the boundaries of what is possible on a board.
Premium manufacturing and unique pop-culture collaborations
While Primitive instantly captivates with its graphics, it is its rigorous manufacturing quality that makes it a benchmark on street spots and in skateparks.
Here is what makes the strength of the Primitive collection available on our shop:
- Primitive skateboard decks: Individually pressed from 7 plies of the finest selected Canadian maple. The glues and resins used ensure optimal rigidity, excellent impact resistance, and a crisp pop that lasts without softening over time. Discover our skateboard decks.
- Legendary official collaborations: This is the house specialty. Primitive broke traditional skate codes by partnering with cult anime, manga, and pop-culture franchises. Find collector series decks with striking designs that immediately stand out on the spot.
- Perfect shape geometry for street: Designed to meet P-Rod's standards, Primitive decks feature extremely well-balanced medium concaves. The nose and tail profiles are engineered to offer excellent leverage, optimizing your flick speed and the accuracy of your flip tricks.
- Primitive complete skateboards: Perfect for demanding beginners or intermediate skaters. Ready to roll right out of the box, these complete skateboards feature an authentic maple deck from the brand, sturdy and responsive trucks, as well as smooth, high-quality wheels to progress at top speed.
