Cliché

Cliché Skateboards: the Lyon epic that conquered the planet

In the late 90s, while the skate industry was ultra-centralized in California, Jérémie Daclin took a crazy gamble: launching an international brand from Lyon. Thanks to a pure vision of street skateboarding, a lifestyle centered around travel and sessions with mates, Cliché became a cult brand worldwide. Its legendary team brought together the finest European and international riders, revealing absolute icons such as Lucas Puig, JB Gillet, Flo Marfaing, Andrew Brophy, or Sammy Winter. Even after decades of history, Cliché embodies the elegance, technicality, and freedom of European urban skateboarding.

Premium decks engineered for technical street

Designed to withstand the rough pavement of European cities and deliver perfect responsiveness on curbs and stairs, Cliché decks are a trusted industry benchmark.

Here is what you will find in the Cliché collection in our shop:

• Cliché skateboard decks: Made from 7 plies of the finest, strictly selected Canadian maple. They offer superb rigidity, excellent shock absorption, and a crisp pop that lasts over many sessions without weakening. Discover our skateboard decks.
• The mythical Cliché logo (The Marianne or Typography): Find the brand's classic visuals, from the sleek Cliché font to graphics inspired by French culture, gastronomy, and iconography, revisited with an irreverent skate touch.
• Modern shapes and medium concaves: Perfectly balanced, these decks feature ideal dimensions for modern street (from 8.0" to 8.5"). The nose and tail profiles are designed to offer great leverage and maximize control during flip tricks and grinds.
• Cliché complete skateboards: An essential choice for starting out or progressing. Ready to roll right out of the box, these complete skateboards feature an authentic maple deck from the brand, sturdy and responsive trucks, as well as smooth wheels to learn your first tricks with reliable skateshop hardware.
