Pro-Tec: The Heritage of Skate Safety

There is no progression without confidence. For over 50 years, Pro-Tec has stood as the undisputed leader in protective equipment. Back when skateboarding took place primarily in drained pools and raw concrete skateparks, Pro-Tec crafted helmets and pads capable of guarding riders while remaining tailor-made for skateboarding's demands. Today, that expertise benefits every skater, from beginners learning their first carves to pros locking down heavy tricks.

Why Pro-Tec Remains the #1 Benchmark

Durability alone isn't enough; comfort is vital so you can forget your gear once you're on the board. Pro-Tec products stand out with:

  • Ergonomic Design: Every shell is engineered to contour perfectly around joints or the head, securing a snug fit that won't slip, even during your most intense sessions. Discover our Pro-Tec protective gear.
  • High-Performance Absorption Tech: Using specialized memory foam and high-density ABS shells, Pro-Tec provides maximum defense against repeated impacts and high-speed slams.
  • Ventilation & Lightweight Feel: Pro-Tec helmets are built to maximize airflow, preventing overheating and keeping you focused on your session in any weather condition.
  • Absolute Confidence: Wearing Pro-Tec means riding with total peace of mind. It is the choice of top pros for their own safety — a level of quality few brands can match to complement your complete skateboard.
