Hard Luck was created after Jason Jessee's old pal Mark Gonzales drew a skull with a pen and key on an envelope telling Jason he should make a mark of it.
In the beginning Hard Luck was available exclusively in Japan and made wheels and clothing.
The company has grown and is now available worldwide with their ball bearings.
