Blind
Founded in 1989 by skate legend Mark Gonzales, Blind Skateboards is an absolute pillar of street skate culture. Born to shake up the industry with a rebellious, provocative spirit, the brand became world-famous thanks to its striking graphics and iconic mascot, the Grim Reaper. Renowned for technical innovations like high-performance Resin-7 construction, Blind offers Canadian maple decks featuring powerful pop and rock-solid durability. Choosing Blind means riding with the raw energy, history, and strength of a brand that wrote the rules of global street skateboarding. Blind Skateboards: Over 30 Years of History and Street Attitude
The Blind story began in the late 80s under the impetus of Mark Gonzales, who decided to launch a brand with an ironic name (a friendly yet sharp nod to his former sponsor, Vision). From the start, Blind positioned itself as the hardcore, funny, and uncompromising alternative to overly commercial brands. In the 90s, the brand released the legendary video Video Days (considered by many to be the most influential street video of all time, notably introducing a young Jason Lee). Driven over the decades by legends like Guy Mariano, Ronnie Creager, and more recently Micky Papa, Blind remains true to its DNA: technical, creative skateboarding firmly rooted in the asphalt.
Resin-7 Technology: The End of Soggy Decks
Behind its sometimes dark or satirical designs, Blind relies on ultra-modern manufacturing processes from Dwindle Distribution workshops. The brand makes it a point of honor to deliver total reliability so every session is at its best.
Here is what you will find in the Blind collection at our shop:
- Premium Resin-7 Construction (Decks): Blind decks aren't just pieces of wood. They feature 7 plies of top-tier Canadian maple bonded together with exclusive epoxy resin, then individually pressed. This unique technical process makes the board lighter, significantly stiffer, and keeps a crisp, heavy pop twice as long as a standard board. Discover all our skate decks.
- The Iconic "Grim Reaper": A true brand symbol, the Blind reaper appears across numerous deck series. Funny, stylish, and timeless, it brings a strong visual identity that's instantly recognizable on any spot.
- Precise Shapes for Street and Park: Featuring just the right amount of medium concave, Blind decks offer exceptional foot lock. The nose and tail profiles provide maximum leverage to boost your ollie height and flip trick speed.
- Blind Complete Skateboards: The ultimate benchmark for beginner and intermediate skaters who want pro-level gear without compromise. Ready to roll straight out of the box, these completes feature an authentic ultra-durable maple deck, responsive aluminum trucks, and smooth wheels suited for both skatepark concrete and street pavement.
