Trucks

The importance of trucks in your skateboard's geometry

Skateboard trucks are the metal components that link your deck to your wheels. They determine two key factors: the quality of the turn and impact resistance during your grinds. Made from high-strength aluminum and steel alloys, they must be chosen based on your deck's width to ensure perfect stability. Understanding technical specifications

To fine-tune your setup according to your preferences, it's essential to understand the different variations of pro trucks:

• Height (Low, Mid, High): A "High" truck offers more clearance for larger-diameter wheels and a more pronounced pop. Conversely, a "Low" profile brings your center of gravity closer to the ground, favoring responsiveness on your flip tricks.
• Lightweight structures (Hollow): These models feature a hollow kingpin and axle. It's the ideal option to reduce your setup's overall weight without sacrificing strength.
• Forged baseplates (Forged): Formed through thermal compression, this baseplate is thinner and stronger than a classic cast model, increasing your hardware's durability.
