Expert Guide: How to Replace Skateboard Trucks and Hardware

Required Tools

• A multi-functional tool.
• A screwdriver or Allen key depending on your hardware.
• Optional pads.

Step 1: Removing Old Trucks and Hardware

Hold the bolt head on top of the deck and loosen the nuts underneath using your tool. Remove the old trucks.

Step 2: Installing New Parts

Insert new screws through the top of the deck, place your trucks (with pads if needed), and tighten securely in a crisscross pattern.
